Data Access

• EUMETCast -  LSA SAF near real-time operational products are disseminated through the EUMETSAT's Broadcast System for Environmental Data. All users owning an EUMETCast Client station may receive LSA SAF Operational Products. For more information please check here.

• LSA SAF data service : Near real-time and archive LSA SAF products are available in the data service (via HTTP and OpenDAP) and updated in near real time https://datalsasaf.lsasvcs.ipma.pt/ . Preferred data access point.

• SFTP Dissemination - All Products (including Internal Products) are also available in near real-time through an SFTP server in a 5 days rolling archive. Users can request this service by sending an e-mail to LSA SAF helpdesk contact, indicating: 
  • contact name and e-mail address
  • product(s) of interest.

• License:

  The LSA SAF products are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) by EUMETSAT.

  You may share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format for any purpose, even commercially) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially). You must provide attribution and cannot apply additional restrictions. When available, the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) should be mentioned.

• Attribution:

  Whether you’re displaying the product as-is or if you have used it as input data, please use one of the following attribution:

  • Figures (short): EUMETSAT LSA SAF [Product Acronymn, Product Identifier] (e.g., “EUMETSAT LSA SAF [EDLST, LSA-002]”).

  • Texts (long): “Data source: EUMETSAT LSA SAF, EPS Daily Land Surface Temperature , EDLST, LSA-002, [when applicable doi:..].”

  • Papers: “EUMETSAT Satellite Application Facility on Land Surface Analysis, MSG Land Surface Temperature Data Record, MLST-R, LSA-050, doi:10.15770/EUM_SAF_LSA_0001.”

  Citation and feedback:
